However, at Shepperdine they can not direct cool the reactors because the river can not take the heat load. So they will also have to build 3 or 4 giant cooling towers, but they cant design these to withstand a jumbo jet so the cooling will fail and booooooooooom!!!!! Its so obvious that the Shepperdine site will never be able to survive a 9/11 style terrorist attack. Same issues in the USA as the EPR and none built or being built anywhere in the world!<br />When is the UK Govt going to wake up and realise nuclear energy is simply too expensive the economics dont stack and we can not continue to leave the legacy of decommissioning and waste for the kids to clean up.
