Hitachi- from the country that brought the world Fukushima
We feel very sad for the people of Japan who want to end nuclear energy whilst a potential new government and big business are desperate for it

No Fukushima at Oldbury

No to Fukushima at Shepperdine!

Thanks for coming to the "See The Light" Protest---The next one will be BIGGER!

Well done to everyone who turned out on Thursday night in support of SANE. We have already had some good coverage in the press see Bristol Evening Post http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/news/Nuclear-power-station-protesters-light-march/article-1889034-detail/article.html

and the local ITV West Country Tonight news gave us some excellent coverage in both their 6pm and 10.30pm slots on Thurs night, thanks to those who managed to turn up half an hour (on very short notice) early so that we could accomodate ITVs request on this.

I informed one of the Eon Security Managers that I thought the choice of such a small venue was inapropriate for the level of debate that this potential development is generating. As people pointed out to me, there were school halls available in Thornbury which could have accommodated more people.

I suggest that Eon consider the health and safety of all concerned and discuss with the Executiveof SANE to decide a more suitable venue.

Please also consider peoples human rights and make sure that Eon are not collecting sensitive data about people who wish to get involved in the debate.

Our numbers will continue to grow significantly as a significant proportion of people begin to learn about the scale of this project.

Once again thanks to everybody for attending--and also the media.

We will continue to provide inspirational ways for our group to protest!
