We feel very sad for the people of Japan who want to end nuclear energy whilst a potential new government and big business are desperate for it

Flexman to speak in Horizon

Leon Flexman the PR man for Horizon is to speak at an industry event about his new found enthusiasm for the Hitachi reactors which are yet to even start the GDA procedure and that are similar to the reactors used in Fukushima.

Gone are the EPR and Westinghouse which were the best on the block, to be replaced by another best on the block.

The people at Horizon remind me of a car dealer that loses his franchise for a company one day and starts flogging another model the following day.

There will be many a slip between cup and lip!!

Dear Reg,
Hitachi’s decision to purchase Horizon has injected a boost of optimism into the UK nuclear industry. I am delighted to confirm that Horizon's Leon Flexman will provide an update from the firm this Tuesday at the Nuclear New Build Forum. He will be taking questions alongside Humphrey Cadoux-Hudson, Olivier Carret and Mark Higson.
