A local anti-nuclear group says the Government's national statement on national nuclear policy is "a staggering concoction of lies".
Radiation Free Lakeland members say if the government's plans for more power stations go un-challenged, it will have devastating consequences for us and the international community.
They claim the government has asked that responses to the plans are not published until the select committee has looked at them, in efforts to keep the voices of anti nuclear campaigners out of the public domain.
