Hi Tim and Leon
Hope you are keeping well!
Following receipt of the newsletter we have the following comments:-
Given that since the publication of your newsletter the new coalition government has decided to reconsider the NPS for energy, including nuclear power, how does this affect the dates that you have on page 1 and page 2.
Can you please stop referring to "our key stakeholders and the public"-- We as some of the public do consider ourselves to be the" most" key of all stakeholders in this matter.
Can you confirm that the reason that you are spending money on Jobs Green Farm is because it is a listed property and you as the owners are obliged to maintain it to particular standards?
Is it possible for you to refurbish the bungalow on Shepperdine Road as it is seen as a property that could enhance the area? I am sure you would be able to rent it out.
When is it now planned to begin the more extensive investigations?
SANE notes that, at this stage, we have not been invited to join the PLG--Given that we represent a considerable amount of people and are actively recognised by DECC, IPC and EA and HSE. When can we expect invites for our representatives?
Given that the GDA carried out by the EA and HSE was based on one reactor on a coastal site what relevence does this have to the Shepperdine site?
Why are you planning to have the first reactor ready for 2025 when in the past you have informed us that "the lights will go out" in 2015?
Do you realise that by confining Oldbury to second in your preference that you are increasing the blight on our properties and therefore we will expect additional compensation for this extended period.
It would be great to receive your reply to all points ASAP.
This emaail is being circulated to all members of SANE and included on our blog as of today. www.shepperdineagainstnuclearenergy.blogspot.com
Cheers
