As members of SANE we all have levels of understanding of the predicament of the human race which is beyond the average Joe or Joanna who never have any causes to fight for.
We are at the vanguard of a major corporate and government led scheme to foist new nukes and their legacy on an ignorant and accepting citizenship who yearn for more and more electricity at any cost to this planet.
A lot of people will go through their lives like sheep believing what they are told, we are part of the conscious few who will question the people who make decisions on our behalf, we push and we probe to get the answers that our communities and the planet are entitled to.
The next time we meet we will discuss ,debate and educate- we will increase our knowledge and the wisdom of our friends, neighbours, workmates---It is an act of selflessness to our cause and the good of mankind and the planet.
Nukes are not the only bad in this world, the controllers of the oil industry have been only to keen to feather their nests at the cost of the great British public, this new government has now accepted that the greedy oil industry now needs to contribute more to the good of our society.
Development taxes are being imposed, probably, better late than never, maybe this contribution can help our health and welfare systems.
We deserve to be a healthy and hearty nation striving for the good of each and every one of us, and the nation owns resources which can help us achieve this with the right level of taxation on these mega oil companies who move their money from continent to continent.
We the Brits have traditionally been low tax-ors in this market , now that as our government stands up to these people, the companies are threatening investment stoppages......I say to Statoil, if you don't like the new tax levels, invest more in Norway at the higher taxes your country charges, we can only be ignorant for so long.
Now the government has had the bottle to take on the oil industry they must now sort out the foreign infrastructure companies who dictate and manipulate the energy markets in the UK.
We the people must have the power and if we are not being treated properly we must take to the streets....this must be the end of manipulation, not only in the UK but throughout the world......the small man must stand up and be counted.
I hope you enjoy and absorb the attached chapter from a recent book about the end of market fundamentalism in the fuel and energy markets.......live and learn.
Power to the People,
Warm wishes, peace and love
