Energy policy could be an early flashpoint between the Conservatives and Lib-Dems who have different approaches to the future of energy security and whether to build nuclear power plants. Our View
It certainly makes long term decisions on investment in nuclear less viable.

Chris Huhne is certainly making all the right noises and hopefully his "new" planning statement will exclude Oldbury because it is so ridiculously unsuitable etc maybe the new DECC will SEE THE LIGHT and redress the new nuclear bias the labour draft NPS had and shift it back where it should be... to ensure more and more renewables.... wind tidal solar etc so this country's energy becomes truly zero carbon and not reliant on uranium imports from abroad.
